Alex specializes in network administration, hardware and software installation and support, as well as Internet security and Web site hosting. Having over 10 years of experience in the IT sector, Alex has worked with companies of all sizes in many industries, on projects involving a wide variety of technology and support needs.

Alex has extensive experience installing and configuring software and hardware for large and small companies in such industries as hospitality, financial, and legal. For example, one recent project involved configuring and maintaining 54 workstations and four servers (2 Windows NT and 2 Novell) for a neighborhood location of a national hotel chain.

Alex also has experience installing and configuring smaller systems for emerging businesses and home-business users. He is able to recommend the most efficient and cost-effective ways for these clients to utilize the latest technology, and serves as their outsource IT department, responding to their upgrade and troubleshooting needs on a regular basis.

In addition, Alex is intimately familiar with the many complicated security issues regarding the Internet, and provides his hosting clients with state-or-the-art security and monitoring services to ensure that their online information is accessible only to authorized parties.

Alex received MCSE Certification from MBT Systems in 2000. Prior to founding Support Unlimited with Bonnie, he was a PC Support Technician with Digital Minds as well as the Geek Squad, both in Minneapolis.
