Setup Your Dial Up Internet Access Account

Support Unlimited, Inc. provides dial up service for internet connection capabilities. The instructions that follow are for Windows 9x^® systems, for all other systems please contact us for specific setup instructions. Complete the instructions below to establish your dial up connection account:

1. Open My Computer
   
   
2. Go to the dial up networking option and select Add new connection. This will bring up a wizard where you will can read the brief introduction then select, Next.
   
   
3. The next screen will prompt you for a name for this account, Support Unlimited. It will also provide you with a selection box to choose an adapter you would like to use, select your modem peripheral and select Next:
   
   
   

4. The next screen will prompt you for the access phone number for the dial up connection, enter area code: 612 phone number: 460-3006 then select Next.
   
   
   
   
5. The following screen will display information regarding the setup of your dial up account, feel free to click Finish at this point.
   
   
   
   
6. Select your new dial up connection by double-clicking the icon, Support Unlimited. At the following screen, enter your username@supportunlimited.com that has been established for your account, then select "Dial Properties" to set the area code dialing properties.

7. On the following screen select the option, Area Code Rules.

8. At this screen enter the area codes for the areas outside your area code that do not require long distance dialing, in this case: 763,952,651. Your situation may vary dependent upon your location. Select ok. This will bring you back to your connection screen.

9. The phone number to connect should now reflect: 6124603006 with no "1" in front of the number. Select Connect. The connection will dial into the servers to establish your connection. Provided your username and password are correct you will be connected to the internet in a few moments.
   
   
10. From here your connection will be established and you may either open your Outlook^® client to check your email, or open a browser to surf the web.
