Report Spam Email To Us...
Support Unlimited Inc. takes SPAM mail very seriously!
We use many of the newest technologies to fight this growing
problem on the internet.
If you receive a SPAM message, we can assist you in assuring
that you will not receive further SPAM from the same sender again,
by blocking their associated IP address through our firewalls.
In order to block a known spammer, we need you to give us the
IP address from which the email was sent. To retrieve the IP address
of the person sending the spam email follow the steps below:
- In your Outlook Inbox or Junk Email folder, Right click on
the message.
- Click on Options.
- A Message Options window will open. At the bottom of that
window there will be an “Internet Headers” box.
- In the Internet Headers box you will need to find where the
it says “Received: from sender.mail.mailsite.com ([IP address
number ex) 206.190.38.224])”
- Send this IP address number that you retrieved to alex@supportunlimited.net.
He will follow our IP blocking procedures to keep this spammer
from being able to reach you again.
After we receive an IP address from you, we take the following
steps:
- We block the spammer’s
whole C class of IP addresses, which means that although a spammer
may have several IP addresses they are using, we block any IP
address within a specific range of the reported IP address.
.
- If the spammer’s IP address range persists in trying
to use other IP addresses (you will need to send us the new IP
address received) we will block that additional C class of IP
addresses.
In addition, our policy dictates us to also block C-Classes from
spammers based on:
- Email Probing
- Email Harvesting
- Mass Email Spamming
If you feel that you have unjustly added an IP to our list, you can
contact us, and we will
review your individual situation.
