The Website Development Process: Phase II: Content Development

During Phase II, Support Unlimited works with a content writer selected to create content for the website based on the web site map developed in Phase I. During the content development phase, it is critical to incorporate overture keywords, marketing messages and information that appeals to the target audience to gain the attention of the website visitor and the search engines (Google, Yahoo and MSN).

Support Unlimited ensures that the content flows naturally; the navigation is easy to follow in conjunction with the content written and is easy to scan from the visitor’s perspective. By working with the content writer from this phase, Support Unlimited ensures the content follows these guidelines to maximize the potential of the web site, both in the search engines and the visitor's experience on the web site.

When it is time to begin adding the content to your website, you may begin adding the content developed using a content editing tool such as Macromedia Contribute. Otherwise, we will add in the final content to each web page, apply formatting and optimize any graphics or photos as needed to compliment your website design.
